Beautiful piece! May I ask what the concept and idea behind it is?

thanks so much for your kind comment. I would love to explain the concept behind it. It is inspired by the principle that 'we become what we behold' and the bible teaches that when we haveaccept Christ as our savior and been born again , when we look at Jesus Christ, we are transformed into His Image. We do this as we begin a relationship with Jesus by reading the bible and praying and the light of revelation about who God is and how much He loves us, begins to transform us. The Bible says that we are looking into a mirror darkly in this present age, but even a dim view of His beauty and glory will change us forever. As we continue to look into this 'perfect law of liberty' we begin to experience true freedom.

I hope this makes sense, I am not sure if you are a person of faith or not, but please know that you are precious and loved by God and I am so happy to explain further if you want me to clarify it more.

Blessings
Suzanne xo

Thanks for the in-dept answer. So can we accept Jesus as savior only and leave out the Lord part? I mean, I know a lot of folks who'd love Jesus as a savior but would never surrender their lives to Him. Thanks!

Hi Joodiespost, I think the beginning of the journey starts with accepting Jesus as Saviour. It begins with a decision to ask Him to come into our hearts and cleanse us from sin. Jesus accepts and loves us where we are at and every person is different. Some people have such a revelation of their sin and their need for forgiveness and others don't initially, we all come from different places. Once we accept Him as Savior though He begins to work in our hearts and as we begin a relationship with Him, our attitudes change and our hearts change and things in our lives get healed and restored. I don't think many hearts willingly bow to Him as Lord right away, but eventually we come to that place. Layer by Layer.
I didn't grow up in a Christian home, but my parents sent me to church as a child so I could make up my own mind, I gave my heart to Jesus as a small child, but as a teenager walked back into the world. At the age of 23 a workmate shared with me about what Jesus did on the cross and something within me responded, I just knew that it was true. I had always had a fear of death and that left me the day I asked Jesus to come into my heart, apart from that I didn't feel anything or see anything but I knew everything had changed. At this point I was born again, but I knew nothing about God, nothing about what it meant to walk with Him and I had many hurts and issues.
Over time, I began to change, I was learning who God was, about His love for me and building a relationship with the Holy Spirit and layer upon layer things began to drop off my life, as I started to surrender areas of my life and heart (make Him LORD)

So I hope I haven't lost you with my long winded reply, but I believe that Jesus must be both Lord and Savior, but I do know that His Lordship is a process in our lives even when we make a decision to give Him Lordship it often only comes over time .. the more a person grows in their relationship with Jesus the more of our lives we will cede over to Him and when I look back at where my life was without God, I am so grateful for everything He has done and is still doing.

Thanks so much for your question. I am really happy to try and answer for you, I don't have all the answers but what I have experienced I am more than happy to tell you. xo
